Title: Rinascita (Rebirth)) - Bianco Series The Bennu bird carried immense importance for the ancient Egyptians, representing the concept of rebirth as a sacred and revered entity. This symbol encapsulated life-giving abilities, capable of imparting healing and even resurrection from death, embodying the profound spirituality associated with renewal and regeneration. The artistic inspiration for this piece originated from a hieroglyph located on the yellow bar below. Within this artwork, the white bird is used by the third time in the Bianco series. A meaningful gift from a friend of mine, who generously presented me with a set of four porcelain birds, and they hold a special place in the series contributing as personal touch to the overall narrative. |
