This artwork captures the Halley’s comet of April 1986, marked at that time by extensive advertising and publications. The excitement was palpable. My youngest brother, drawn to witness it from the best vantage point in our town, tragically became a victim of a hit-and-run just two blocks from our parents' home, transitioning, in that moment, into another bright star in the Universe.
