Title: Tempus Fugit—I’m Late, I’m Late, I’m Late! -  Bianco Series

Assemblage with found objects

This artwork was inspired by Alice in Wonderland's quote where the White Rabbit exclaims, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date! No time to say 'Hello, Goodbye,' I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!"
It reflects on the concept of Tempus Fugit, the fleeting nature of time slipping through our grasp and the pace of our Western culture. It highlights how we often prioritize busyness over meaningful connections and introspection, constantly caught up in external events without pausing to look within ourselves.
My belief is that if Lewis Carroll had not created the White Rabbit character, technology might have eventually filled the void with something similar.
